1. Does it cost any money for my child to attend Discovery Kids?
2. What do I do when I arrive?
3. Does your church have a Child Protection Policy?
4. Can I see what you do at Discoverers for myself?
5. Can I leave my child with you whilst I go shopping?

1. Does it cost any money for my child to attend Discoverers?

No.  There is no charge or expected fee. However, as part of our worship we take up a collection but this is voluntary. We see this as a tool to teach children about giving. In fact, the money we receive through the offering goes directly to support some children of a family living in Malawi, Africa.

2. What do I do when I arrive?

In the foyer you will see a member of the Discovery Kids Welcome Team staff with an easily identifiable T-Shirt with our logo printed on it. They will show you which room your child will join and where you are to collect them afterwards. You can then go into church knowing that your child is safely being looked after.

3. Does your church have a Child Protection Policy?

Yes. We have worked extensively on this whole area in association with the relevant bodies. Our Child Protection Policy is available to view should you wish. We see our compliance in this area to be key in valuing our Discovery Kids children and protecting both them and our staff.

4. Can I see what you do at Discovery Kids for myself?

Yes. We welcome visits by parents or guardians. It’s always helpful for you to see what your child gets up to! We would ask that you let us know the week before your visit if possible. This just helps us so that we can know to expect you!

5. Can I leave my child with you whilst I go shopping?

No. We discourage this as we like to know that you are available should we need you. In any case it’s good opportunity for you to join the main church, make new friends and to take time out to discover the realities of the Christian faith for yourself!
